Papaye Fast Foods Limited was founded as a Limited Liability Company on November 20, 1990, and issued a certificate to begin operations on June 17, 1991.
Papaye began with a 12-person workforce in 1991, but has since grown to 652 employees. This provides job chances for both Ghanaians and foreigners.
The company has the distinction of being the pioneer of Accra’s fast food eateries. Over the years, Papaye has stuck to a strategy of preparing fast dishes using company-designed recipes, giving their cuisine a distinct flavour. This is demonstrated by the way Papaye has become a household name in Ghana.
