Ghanaian hip-hop star Sarkodie is set to perform at the Tuff Gong Takeover at the Capital Summerstage City Parks, Coney Island on July 8th alongside Skip Marley and friends. The event is free and the show starts at 5pm.
Tuff Gong Takeover is a one-day event that will also feature performances by Bobby Konders, a special surprise guest Soca artist from Trinidad, and NYC’s Shani Kulture alongside the Tuff Gong Radio on-air personalities; DJ Sparks, DJ Brooke Bailey, and DJ Jel.
Skip Marley is the grandson of reggae legend Bob Marley. He has released two albums, “Higher” and “Scorpion King: The Album”, and has collaborated with artists such as Beyoncé, Nas, and Damian Marley. Skip Marley is known for his smooth vocals and positive messages.
