Ghanaian World Record Aspirant DJ Sam Clocks More Than 260 hours

Ghanaian disc jockey, DJ Sam has broken the current Guinness Book of Records record for the longest DJ performance, which stands at 200 hours.

DJ Sam took a brave step to break the existing record of 200 hours for the longest DJ set, aiming for an astonishing 264 hours. Nonetheless, DJ Sam outperformed all expectations by completing the incredible record of 264 hours.
The ambitious attempt began on February 13 at the Mood Bar in Osu. The DJ performance included a two-hour pause. Killbeatz, King Promise, Smallgod, D-Black, Grey, Tinny, KiDi, Dancegod Lloyd, Kuami Eugene, Camidoh, Militant Family, Darkovibes, Cina Soul, and many others attended.

As of now, Guinness has not responded or acknowledged DJ Sam’s attempt. The former record holder for the longest DJ set by an individual is Nigerian DJ Soul Yin, who performed for an incredible 243 hours and 30 minutes in October 2021.

As he continues his record-breaking journey, DJ Sam demonstrates the spirit of Ghana’s music business and its potential to generate world-class talent. His exceptional achievement demonstrates his dedication while also serving as an example to young musicians and music aficionados in Ghana who want to be at the forefront of African music.
